Suzy Thompson brings her mastery of American roots music, including blues, bluegrass and Cajun, to create a heart-felt homage to 1970’s songwriter Paul Siebel, with soulful vocals and great guitar work. Last year's album by the same name reached #3 on the national Folk Radio chart. Siebel’s compositions are masterpieces of poetry, storytelling, and incisive character sketches, by turns tender, sarcastic, occasionally joyful but more often melancholy and regretful. Suzy Sings Siebel includes songs from Siebel’s studio albums, and one song that was lost for 50 years - recorded, never released, and forgotten.
